LIGANOVA, the leading agency in the brand and retail marketing sector, has its headquarters in Stuttgart. With more than 400 employees spread across four locations around the world, the company, which was founded in 1995, has established itself as a partner for major brands and global players. LIGANOVA offers its customers comprehensive solutions from the idea to the implementation in order to position them successfully in the dynamic retail market. The agency continuously focuses on sustainability and innovation. This approach enables LIGANOVA not only to live the spirit of the times, but also to play an active role in shaping it and helping its customers to create modern and sustainable brand identities.
In order for the IT landscape to keep pace with the dynamics and development of the agency, a standardized SAP product was needed.

They wanted a standardized SAP product that would meet the requirements of an agency, i.e. that would enable flexible processes and cover legal requirements.

Selection of the ERP system
LIGANOVA has opted for SAP Business ByDesign. The combination of standardised cloud ERP, individual front end and flexible external access to data and processes spoke in favour.
Development of the specialised frontend
Together with its subsidiary LIGADIGITAL, the company has developed a specialised front end for this ERP in order to adapt the handling of the system to the requirements of an agency.
Selection and further training of key users
Selection and further training of key users who were responsible for the development and design of the customised solution and for the implementation of SAP Business ByDesign.
Integration of processes
Combination of standardised cloud ERP functions with special developments, such as a separate time recording system, separate calculation models and a 3PL logistics module for shipping goods worldwide.
Training of the employees
To prepare all users for the new system landscape, training was provided for all employees. In addition, digital instructions and FAQ pages were created.
Results from LIGANOVA
Coverage of all operational business processes
The new cloud ERP covers all operational business processes involved in projects, e.g. project creation, orders, order processing, invoicing and accounting.
User-friendly front end
The customized LIGAOS x SAP front end developed by LIGANOVA enables intuitive and user-friendly control of the SAP project, even for inexperienced users.
Interrelated value creation process
A coherent value creation and business process was established throughout the course of each individual project.
Future, efficiency and legal certainty
With SAP Business ByDesign, LIGANOVA has received a modern and future-proof cloud ERP system, giving it greater efficiency and – thanks to standardization – more legal certainty.
