The European Vaccine Initiative supports the development of effective, accessible and affordable vaccines to combat diseases of poverty. EVI has introduced SAP Business ByDesign for better fundraising management and reporting.

The European Vaccine Initiative (EVI) is at the forefront of European efforts to develop effective, accessible and affordable vaccines against diseases of poverty. EVI was founded by Stockholm University and Heidelberg University in 1998, and in March 2011 four new institutions were registered in the European Economic Interest Grouping, which is the legal identity of EVI. EVI’s successes include supporting the rapid development of several vaccines, including Zika and malaria virus vaccines. This ability, coupled with decades of experience, has enabled EVI to support companies in many countries in the development of vaccines. To enable better fundraising management and reporting, among other things, EVI introduced SAP Business ByDesign with our help.

Determining requirements and finding solutions

EVI identified the need for a cloud ERP system to increase the efficiency and transparency of their operations and focus more on their core mission.

Start of the implementation

Implementation of the SAP Business ByDesign cloud ERP with all4cloud began in early July.

The go-live date

The implementation was already completed at the beginning of August and the go-live date took place.
